I stood up, holding a rock in my right hand. It was sharp, and could probably pierce her skin.
I lunged myself towards her, pumping my wings to get a speed boost. I held out both fists, one with the rock and the other a solid punch.

"What the fuck!" I yelled, biting down on my tongue.

(Okay,so,um. . .I'm just going to pretend I have no idea whats happening. . .)

I looked around me,and then behind me into the woods.
"Where's 85?" I asked Fang,and he stood up quietly,looking around.
Angel looked up.
"He left into the woods.Fifteen minutes or so ago,"
I held my breath,and looked up into the sky,shading my eyes from the sun with my hand.I didn't see anything,and I would have if it was only fifteen minutes.But,still.Did we trust him enough to not tell anyone about us?

I grinned evily.
Wow. I had actually beaten her. I guess under the skin, she was just a weakling.
And she was so vulnerable. So easy to hurt...

My arm was now stinging like crazy, and I wiped a tear from my eye with my sweatshirt sleeve. I didn't want him to see me crying.
I sat down on the ground and my stomach rumbled again.

I was going to decline, but looked at my arm and felt dizzy from the blood. I gave him my good arm and I stood up.

I stood up,and turned around,saying to the others,"If we're not back in two or three hours,you have to go somewhere and HIDE,okay?Okay."
Fang followed me,and after we were up severel hundred feet in the air,he turned to me and said,"Where do you think he went?"
I shrugged,scanning the sky,and below us too,in the forest,although I knew if he was down there we'd never see him.But he couldnt have gotten far in fifteen minutes. . .

"Wait here for a sec," I flew towards the two oldest members of the Flock.

I shrugged, letting go of my arm and letting drops of blood fall from the sky.
I wiped my hand on my jeans and slid my backpack off and let it hang on my good arm.

I led her back to the campsite, and I landed.
"Don't hurt her," I told Angel, Iggy, Gazzy, Nudge, and Total.
"She's with me, and she just needs some help."
I picked up some leftover gauze from Max and brought it over to her.
"So what's your name?" I asked, as I wrapped it around her arm.
