"But it's in Canada," the Gasman said,and I nodded.
"And it's robotic.Maybe there's nothing in this ship at all except for us.But either way,we're going to get into some trouble when we land," I said,ticking off the things on my fingers,"We know the other. . ."number-children",if you will. . .wanted to track us to kill us,but we're not shure if we were captured by one of them,or another coorperation intirely.
So that leaves us with a bunch of questions,and not a lot of answers.I think,to pass the time,we should play out scenarios.You know,kinda like getting our stories straight for the authorities?"

"What would our story be? We were just wandering along when we grew wings, and then we were captured by the hooligans. I don't think that will work." I said. I was getting ticked. I hated being tied up like this.

"I say we untie these things, kick open a panel, and change the destination."

I rolled over, and tried loosening the rope tied around my arms. If we just waited, we would surely die.

I finally got my hands free, but they were pretty scratched up. I scrunched up and started untying my feet. They came off easier.

I stood up, and looked down at them.

"Anyone else gonna come?" I asked.

I untied my hands,and feet,and walked over to the wall,pressing my palm against it.It seemed like it was metal.I went across the wall.It didnt seem like there was an opening or anything.

I let my hands trace around the panels in the floor, and I found a corner. I stuck my fingernails under it and lifted. Nothing budged. I stood up on my tiptoes, and felt along the cieling for any loose pieces of metal.

"You got anything?" I asked.

I shook my head,but kept going around the room.I was almost halfway done when my hand brushed against something sharp,and I peered closer,but it was too dark to see.

I pressed my palm against it again,not really minding the small prickles of blood that it caused.It was like. . .like rough sandpaper.
With needles.
I felt my hand even farther along,and about an foot or two it stopped.
"I think this might be an opening or something," I said,"So they'd put something on it so that we couldn't try to break out of it?"

"Hah. Well, we're trying."
I motioned for her to move, and I kicked right where the suspected "Sandpaper" was. I winced and bit my lip as the needles slowly sunk into the sole of my shoe, just breaking through the skin of some of my toes and heel.

"Help," I said quietly, trying to pull my foot out of the needles.

I bit the inside of my lip to stop myself from laughing.As painful as the situation may be,this was a little funny.
I pulled his arm,and he fell back.

I so desperatly wanted to tear my shoe off, hug my foot, and scream. Holy Jesus! Next time you get a hundred tiny needles poked into your foot, give me a ring. Maybe we could start some sort of foot+needles=heck of a lot of pain club.

"I think it's them." I said.
"But they are more highly skilled than I thought. And why they would be taking us to Canada, I do not know. I'm pretty sure the lab wasn't up there."

There was a sliding sound,and I looked to my left.The needley sandpaper door of death had opened,and someone stepped in,shutting it.
"We're reaching our destination," they said loudly,and I had to ask:
"Which is where exactly,oh supreme master?"
He blinked,but said,"You'll know soon enough,"

I turned to the others.

"Ooh.Mysterious," I smirked.
He left the room,the door sliding behind him again.

"Sliding door," I muttered, and walked back towards the sharp thing that had lodged itself into my shoe.
I slid my fingers between some nails, and tried pulling the door open. I grinned. He had left it unlocked. It moved a little bit, but by that time my fingers had started to bleed.

"I could use some help," I said
